COPE: Laporta has recently made public statements putting pressure on Atletico Madrid, and the club is preparing to join the complaint.

According to COPE radio reporter Antonio Ruiz, Atletico Madrid is preparing to include all recent statements from Barcelona and Laporta in their previously submitted complaint.

With the season nearing its end, Julian Alvarez's future has entered a crucial phase due to recent official statements and behind-the-scenes developments. Antonio Ruiz revealed in Match Time that Atletico Madrid will soon expand the scope of their complaints against Barcelona. This decision comes after Barcelona president Joan Laporta released a video in which he publicly reiterated his desire to sign the Argentine striker.

Antonio Ruiz added that Atletico Madrid's management believes the Barcelona president's public pressure has directly damaged the club's stability and the striker's performance. The journalist emphasized, "Everything Laporta said will be included in the complaint because they believe Barcelona continues to harm the club and the player." This has clearly heightened tensions within the club.

In fact, Alvarez had a bad night due to physical discomfort and missed the latest training session. The club internally links this to tensions stemming from concerns about his future.

Under this intense pressure, Atletico Madrid's major shareholder and owner, Apollo Fund, fully supports CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marin's position. Gil Marin has refused to sell this key player to Barcelona from the outset. The club's ownership structure offers unwavering support for this dispute with the Catalan club, citing the Argentine international's contract terms: his contract with Atletico Madrid runs until June 30, 2030, with a release clause of €500 million.

On the other hand, Antonio Ruiz also revealed that new suitors have emerged in the Premier League. Arsenal have officially contacted the striker to inquire about his conditions. Although Atletico Madrid initially made it clear that the player was not for sale, a deal is not entirely impossible if the London club makes a very substantial offer that meets Atletico's needs, and Alvarez maintains his stance. Atletico Madrid's legal action stemmed from a video statement released by Laporta, in which he publicly presented evidence of his desire to sign the striker. The Barcelona president admitted, "We hoped our offer would be accepted, and we did so with full respect for Atletico Madrid." Laporta further explained his phone conversation with Miguel Ángel Gil Marin, who informed them that they could not let the striker go because there was no reliable replacement.

However, Laporta stated that they were aware Atletico Madrid had been in contact with other clubs: "We received information that Atletico Madrid was negotiating or communicating with other clubs to see if it was possible to sell Alvarez, which led us to decide to maintain our offer." The off-field atmosphere was directly reflected on the field.

Julian Álvarez was booed and jeered by the home crowd during the match against Villarreal, receiving a cold reception from the stands. He came on as a substitute in the 66th minute and had just finished playing in the World Cup.
